PROP Simulation Workshops
This component of PROP is Simulation Workshop. It is a learning experience and hands on skills to provide opportunities to manage and treat specific medical conditions. It also allows teams to learn about effective communication and role division. Studies have found that up to 80% of all medical errors are due to team skills as opposed to deficits in medical knowledge. This Simulation workshop hopes to combat this issue.
Each PROP Simulation Workshop is comprised of multiple scenarios. Each scenario has a dedicated amount of time for the participants to assess and treat the patient. After the scenario is complete, there is a debrief which allows participants to lead a conversation about what went well, what could be improved upon, changes they want to make in the future, and much more.
Target Audience: Any medical facility or hospitals in the region caring for paediatric population.
By bringing the mannequins and all necessary gears to these hospitals, this half or full day program allows for the most accurate learning, within learner's own facility.
For more information, interested hospitals should contact us.
